REVIEW: Freshlook 1 Day Colorblends in Pure Hazel

Hi all! I have another contact lens review today! I've been searching around the internet for hazel coloured natural lenses recently and stumbled upon these Freshlook Dailies One Day Contact Lenses in Pure Hazel. I wanted something natural that would just kind of 'enhance' my eyes and these did just that job!

Diameter: 13.80mm
Base Curve: 8.60mm
Duration: 1 day/ dailies
Material: Nelfilcon A 31%
Water content: 69%
Color: Pure Hazel
Package: 10 in Box/ 5 Pairs

Comfort:
  • 8/10
  • My eyes are naturally sensitive and are more prone to being dry so obviously a 69% water content appealed greatly to me
  • The longest i've worn these lenses were for around 10 hours and i still felt no irritation by the end of the night!
  • However, it does take quite a while, ill say 10 mins -30 mins of them adjusting on your eyes. By this i mean, i mean actually staying in place with the iris
  • The only con about the comfort of these lenses are you can still slightly feel them in your eyes even after you adjust. Perhaps it was because they were coloured, but whenever i wear my clear prescription lenses, i can't feel them in there at all!

5 Pairs, i ordered mine in prescription because I'm pretty blind

Design:
  • 10/10
  • The exact colour i wanted
  • Absolutely 100% natural
  • Enhances the eyes
  • I haven't gone one time wearing them, when someone wouldn't compliment them :)
  • There are dimensions of brown, green and yellow, and because of that, the colour of the lenses look different in different lighting, which i absolutely love
Purchase:
  • I bought them here at Pinkicon with my own money!
  • From the point of order, the lenses came within 2 weeks, free shipping!
Overall:
  • 9/10
  • Perfect if you are seeking an enhancement for dark eyes like mine
  • Very natural yet alluring
Now for the spam of photos of me wearing these lenses :)

REVIEW: Mizon Placenta Ampoule Cream

Hi all! Winter has finally hit Sydney, not too cold this year, but my skin annually starts to dry out and peel around this time sigh, but at least it gave me an excuse to go and buy a winter moisturiser for my face! I've been using this product for twice a day for the past few weeks, so i thought it would be a great time for a review!

Packaging:
  • Plastic blue container with 50ml of functional concentrated cream

Contains 1.500mg of placenta extract

Claims:
  • Improves wrinkles
  • Whitens
  • Nutrition to the skin
  • Prevents/ protects from dryness
Ingredients:

  • PLACENTA 1,500MG, NIACIN AMIDE, ADENOSINE, BETA-GLUCAN, LAVENDER OIL, HYALURONIC ACID, TREHALOSE, ARNICA EXTRACT, SAGEBRUSH EXTRACT, YARROW EXTRACT, ROSE EXTRACT, GENTIAN EXTRACT, AND PORTULACA OLERACEA L. EXTRACT.

Texture/ Color:
  • White
  • Very concentrated, so slightest you only need the slightest bit for your whole face
  • Because it has a thick texture, its great protection from the dry air around me

Scent:
  • Not too sure how to describe it, but it has the typical placenta cream/ lanolin oil scent
  • The smell can be slightly overpowering for some
  • The scent disappears not long after anyway
How to use:
  • I use it as a simple facial moisturiser
  • At night after a shower
  • In the morning after i wash my face
Results:
  • Using it everyday for a few weeks, twice a day, I've noticed improvements in my skin
  • Dry patches have disappeared/ gone down
  • Immediate relief to irritation
  • Protects from the dry winter in Australia
  • Softer skin
  • Less acne
Cons:
  • I'm sceptical about the claims for whitening effects as i don't think i noticed any difference in my skin
Overall:
  • 5/5
  • It does everything a simple facial moisturiser is suppose to
  • I can't comment on whether it helps wrinkles because i don't have any
Where did i buy it?
  • I purchased this from the seller Kocomaket from eBay
  • Link to product here
  • Comes with a free tiny small sample
  • The packaging came wrapped in bubble wrap so the item was safe and secure
Have any of you guys tried this cream? What did you think?
